Thermal Camera Certification Process

Hanwha Vision thermal and radiometric camera devices identify objects at distances of up to 1.9miles (3157m) away in all weather conditions and can monitor facility temperatures for signs of danger with temperature change detection analytics.

 

 

Certification Process

 

Hanwha Vision thermal products under ECCN 6A003.b.4.b classification are subject to Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by the U.S. Department of Commerce. In order to ensure that Hanwha Vision’ Thermal product transactions are consistent with EAR, we are required to take necessary precautions as to ensure best practices are executed with regard to the collection and management of data associated with end-user, integrator and distributor.

STEP 1

Become a Thermal Camera Authorized Dealer
As required by U.S. Department of Commerce the collection of end-user/end-use is important to ensure technology does not fall into the wrong hands. By providing a passive statement on conditions of our sales of thermal camera reaffirming Hanwha Vision’ position that we expect products will not be exported or resold to end-user prohibited by US. D.O.C. All thermal products must ship to an authorized STEP dealer.
Partners will be required to sign a one-time Export Controls Compliance Addendum.

STEP 2

Collect End-User and End-Use Information for Each Transaction
As required by U.S. Department of Commerce, Hanwha Vision is required to collect information pertaining to end-user for EACH transaction. Sign an End User Statement.

Place an order through one of our Authorized Strategic Distributors

NOTE: Thermal product cannot be returned or canceled. They are not covered under our Advanced Replacement program and are not subject to dead on arrival (DOA) coverage. Only Repair Requests can be submitted.
